1. Do I have to pay to enter this photo competition?

   No, it is free to enter the Fotoweb bcn 2007 competition.

2. Do I have to present two photos to take part in the competition?

   No, it is not obligatory. The competition rules state that two is the maximum number of photos you can send in for each category.

3. Can I send one photo next week and another a week later, for example?

   Yes, you can send the photos on different days.

4. Can I send two photos to just one of the competition categories?

   Yes, the competition rules state that you can present two photos in one category.

5. Can I use a programme such as Photoshop to touch up the photos?

   Yes, you can send photos which have been edited.

6. Can the photos be of any city in Catalonia?

   No, the photos must have the city of Barcelona as the theme, either as the main stage or the lead character.

7. Can I send photos the day before the deadline even though I registered for the competition much earlier?

   The deadline for sending photos is 14 September 2007. However, we recommend sending your entries before the deadline to avoid problems with overloading due to large numbers of photos being sent.

8. If I have entered a second photo for the mobile phone category and I change my mind can I send another one?

   No, the competition rules state that you can send a maximum of two photos.

9. How will I know if my MMS has been received correctly?

   When your message has been received you will receive an SMS with the message "OK" if it has been received correctly, or if not, you will receive an error message. Check the “fotoweb username” in your MMS message. Consult the mobile phone category for more information.

10. How much does it cost to send the MMS?

    It costs €1.2 + VAT (16%) to send the MMS. Of this, 50% goes to the service operator you have a contract with (Movistar, Orange or Vodafone), and the remainder goes to the company contracted to manage the service.
