More than fifty museums to open their doors for free for one evening

Theatre. Last season's hit play is exceeding expectations once again and will have its run at the TNC extended to 8 July.

Delacroix, in retrospective

Art. Featuring more than 130 works, the CaixaForum looks back at the career of the master of Romanticism, offering the largest exhibition dedicated to him for half a century.

When textiles used to be manufactured in the city

Exhibitions. An exhibition takes us back to the origins of industrial Barcelona through one of the star products of the time: printed calico textiles known as indianes.

Circuses and Nova Cançó

Shows. Five people working in a circus have taken inspiration from the Nova Cançó movement to perform a review of recent Catalan history at the Guasch Teatre.

The Spirit of Dance

Dance. More than 20 artists combine traditional Irish dancing with styles from other cultures, to find love through dance in Spirit of the Dance, now playing at the Coliseum.

Pedrals' poetry is adapted for the stage

Theatre. The Seca - Espai Brossa is dedicating a cycle to the writer Josep Pedrals, with two shows, Els comptes de la lletera and El furgatori.

'Mequinensa'

Entertainment. The TNC is staging a play directed by Xicu Masó on a newcomer's as an outsider, in homage to Jesús Moncada.

El swing de Harlem

Espectacles. El Teatre Victòria acull un musical sobre el jazz, el swing i el rhythm and blues del Harlem dels anys vint.

A new theatre cycle

Entertainment. The Atrium is opening a new Atrium Lab cycle to promote projects with no exhibition space and young playwrights and innovative ideas.

Opera en route

Music. Sarrià-Sant Gervasi has organised concerts, itineraries and even a few opera-related culinary experiences, all to popularise opera.

Stories of loss

Theatre. The young author Marilia Samper puts her name to L'ombra al teu costat [The shadow beside you], a play about crossed histories filled with absences, on at the TNC.
