Miquel Badia (Terrassa, 1969) began his photographic training in the IDEP school of Barcelona (1994), while he started photographic studies in the Terrassa School of Photography (Polytechnic University of Catalonia) receiving his degree in the first graduations from the speciality Communication and Architecture (1997).
Of particular note among his professional activities is the participation in different fashion studio catalogues, cultural reports (such as that of Matadepera Town Council) and theatre advertising. He is the creator of images for Terrassa Town Council publishing projects and has recently been published by Lunwerg and Mediterrània. For the latter, he extensively photographed Gaudí's work, a project which was serialised in the newspaper El Periódico (2002). He photographed the architect's works for the Official Gaudí Programme 2002 and for the Gaudí International Year Report, and has also been the collaborating photographer for the commemorative book Gaudí 2002, Miscellanea.
