Gaudí
The book reveals the great influence of Viollet-le-Duc's
rationalist ideas on the architect. Moreover, it explains
how the strictest functional logic beats within the
apparent visual irrationalism of his work. Finally,
it analyses from this perspective most of the Gaudinian
designs. The book also offers insights into most of
the Gaudinian creations made in diverse materials
(iron, wood and ceramics) and in different fields
(wrought iron, cast iron, furniture and floorings)
to explain their genesis.

Las voces de Gaudí
(The Voices of Gaudí)
Reveals a new approach in the architect's work, not
only guided by the visible but also by what is heard
and perceived. It is a mixture of accounts, anecdotes,
commentaries and stories which demonstrate that Gaudí
designed the voice of his work so that the sculptural
materials would be alive and in dialogue. Thus, each
building is magic and has its own voice. It is an
architecture which talks while revealing an invisible
world that is heard, enjoyed and experienced at every
moment. José Arturo Campos, number 24 of the

Gaudí or the Architect's Game
Journeying through the main Gaudinian constructions,
the players test their building skills as well as
their architectonic and artistic knowledge of Gaudí's
work. Throughout the journey there is also a visit
to a virtual museum where the fundamental aspects
of the Gaudinian work are explained in a clear and
entertaining way. It is a perfect family game given
that it is a multimedia product conceived for all
ages.

Hotel Attraction. Gaudí's project for New
York
Gaudí designed this large hotel between 1908
and 1911, commissioned by some North American business
people. Boasting fully Gaudinian forms, with a profusion
of parabolic arches and conoidal cupolas, the project
came to light thanks to Llorenç Matamala. "Hotel
Attraction" is in two Cd's: one with a compilation
of musical pieces as background and a CD-ROM featuring
3D images of the building.
