In order to be eligible for these posts, when completing the application you must:

• Be a Spanish national, in accordance with current legislation.
• Hold a certificate of secondary education, a school leaver’s certificate, an auxiliary technician certificate or other similar or higher qualification. Any foreign qualifications must have the approval of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
• Be between the ages of 18 and 34, inclusive.
• Have no previous convictions or bans on exercising public positions.
• Suffer no illness or not be hindered in any way, either physically or psychologically, from the regular practice of the respective functions of the position.
• Be at least 1.7 metres in height in the case of men and 1.6 metres in height in the case of women.
• Possessing the licenses of driving vehicles of the class A-2 and BTP. The licenses BTP and A-2 are a must before the beginning of the phase of practices in the Operating Units, therefore must be presented before the date of completion of the Course of Basic Formation at the Institute of Public Security of Catalonia.
• Submit a sworn declaration by which you assume a commitment to carry weapons.
• Meet the conditions required for exercising the functions entrusted to you pursuant to what is stipulated in Act 16/1991, dated 10 July, the provisions developing said law and the regulations of the local police forces.
