Final Technical Report Betsi II: Binding Efforts Towards Social Inclusion

This report is the fundamental product of the work carried out by the transnational consortium during Phase II of the European BETSI project.

Three Protocols in order to allow materialise by agreements the collaboration between the public institutions, social organization and companies:

Drafting of documents that prove useful and effective to systematise collaboration proposals (mostly from the corporate sector), collaboration requests (made by social institutions), and gathering, collecting, and formalising any collaboration agreements that have been established.

METHODOLOGY FOR ACTIONS TO BE VALIDATED

The collaboration model for combating poverty and social exclusion through cooperation between municipal authorities, associations and other social and economic agents proposes a series of actions that should be validated during the first stage of 2005.The document describes the proposed methodology in order to validate the different actions.

Actions records document
The objectives of this data sheet are:

1. Follow-up of actions carried out: Reflecting and describing the different activities implemented under each of the actions chosen by each partner.
2. Evaluation: Making it possible to draw up a balance of the results or impact achieved by each of the actions carried out. (Local government, the social sector and the economic/business sphere) to combat social exclusion.

Model of collaboration between agents (15/12/2004)

This document is the proposal for a Model of Collaboration between Agents in the Fight against Social Exclusion .This model will be validated by actions throughout the second phase of BETSI II (2005.) Subsequently, any corrections that are deemed necessary will be introduced, and a final model will be drafted as a final result of the BETSI Project.

FINAL REPORT BETSI I: NEW STRATEGIES AND METHODS OF COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE DIFFERENT SOCIAL PLAYERS INVOLVED IN POLICIES OF SOCIAL INCLUSION

This report is the fundamental product of the work carried out by the transnational consortium during Phase I of the European BETSI project.
Work group methodology. (30/03/04- 30/05/04)
In this document the creation of the work groups has been stablished in order to carry out three missions:

1. Identification of Good Practices in which the business sector participates.
2. Taking an in depth look at the identified experiences and identify the most "successful" strategies and tools of collaboration between the business sector and other social agents in the fight against social exclusion.
3. Drawing up Reports and making progress towards a common model.
Good Practices Summary.
This document has two parts:

1. Criteria to identify good practices
2. Good practices record that has to be fill in with the Good Practices

Outline of criteria to select and propose succesful collaboration strategies
Phase II: Selecting new "successful" strategies and instruments for collaboration

The goal of the present document is to provide a support guidebook to the work groups during the process of selection and proposal of successful collaboration strategies, and collaboration between the economic-corporate sector, the social sector, and the public sector.

Towards the definition and common design for the colaboration betwen business, social bodies and local government organisations
This document has three parts:

1. The elements that the model should contain
2. Common work methodology for the elaboration of model proposals in the framework of each national workshop
3. Diagram for the definition of a model proposal adjusted to the situation and needs of each city

Strategies and tools to fight poverty and social exclusion. Corporate involvement

The purpose of this document is to summarise the analysis made by each of the cities that have taken part in the BETSI project with regard to local strategies designed to fight social exclusion. Another goal of this document is to draft, from the existing practices, common, global strategies that have been acknowledged to be effective by the different institutions involved, including, first and foremost, the role of corporation in this issue.
