To help celebrate PICASSO2006BCN, A Guide to Picasso’s Barcelona will be re-published, drawn up by Josep Maria Carandell based on places connected to the life and work of Picasso, who lived in Barcelona between 1895 and 1904. The guide was first published by the Barcelona City Council in 1981, on the centenary of Picasso’s birth.
The Tourist Office in Barcelona will also set up a walking and guided Picasso route following Carandell’s itinerary.
