Of the two
entrances to the Parliament the one on the right is
to the library. Nearby in the courtyard you will see
two political memorials: the one in memory of Catalans
killed fighting for their freedoms is a Pietà by Ferràn
Ventura, put up in 1984 (a bronze copy is to be
found in the Fossar de la Pedrera). The other memorial,
which is on the wall, is a star by Josep Maria Subirachs
in memory of Catalans who resisted Francoism.
